We are a family business. Because we own and run classics ourselves we understand what our clients expect. Our key individuals are set out below. We also work with trusted suppliers and contractors with whom we have strong relationships to offer the highest standards of quality in discrete disciplines such as engine management systems, veneering and trimming. Everyone who works for us or with us shares our passion for classic cars and our ethics.
Gerald is our founder. An accountant by profession, he has been passionate about cars since running around London in the early 1970s in an Austin Healey Sprite. His other cars over the years include an MGTC, a pair of Big Healeys, a brace of MK2 Jaguars, an XK140 and a Bentley Turbo R. Gerald is an enthusiastic member of the JEC and regularly covers thousands of miles across Europe in his XK140 on club tours. Gerald assists with the sourcing and sales side of the business and also runs our sister classic wedding car hire business.
James is a City solicitor with a leading litigation practice in London. Whilst law was his vocation cars have been his lifelong passion. He is also a Director of our subsidiary garage business at The Motor Garage. With a young family, James is drawn towards 4 seater vehicles and has owned a number of classic cars (mainly Jaguars and Range Rovers). He has considerable mechanical expertise and has personally restored and maintained a number of classic vehicles. He personally looks after a small number of high value classic cars for clients across the South of England.
